Dates: 21–26 October 2025

The MA Photography course at Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) is marking its 10th anniversary with a special exhibition as part of Photo Month London. The show features a curated selection of work by alumni and current students, presented in the striking Mile End Arts Pavilion, a contemporary architectural landmark that offers a stunning backdrop for the images on display.

Founded in 2015 by award-winning photographer Professor Paul Wenham-Clarke, the AUB MA Photography course has built a strong reputation for producing innovative, conceptually driven photographers. Wenham-Clarke has led the course since its inception, guiding emerging artists to develop distinctive voices within the medium.

Photo Month London celebrates photography across the capital, showcasing work in major public venues such as Tate Modern, Whitechapel Art Gallery, and Autograph, as well as in independent galleries including Four Corners, alongside libraries, bookshops, and alternative spaces.

Among Photo Month’s directors is Zelda Cheatle, renowned curator and Sony World Photography Awards judge. Cheatle, an AUB Honorary Fellow, is also a long-standing mentor on the MA Photography course, where she has helped many students make valuable industry connections.

The exhibition presents a wide spectrum of genres from fashion and portraiture to landscape, environmental, documentary, activist, and fine art photography. Many of the featured works have received professional level recognition in major awards.

The show runs from 21–26 October at the Mile End Arts Pavilion, with a closing celebration on Saturday 25 October, 18.30–20.30. Admission is free, and all are welcome — no RSVP required.
