Campus Tours
Explore our creative campus and its general facilities with one of our student ambassadors, so that you can get a feel for the AUB vibe.
Campus Tours
If you didn't manage to visit us on one of our Open Days, don't worry. With our Campus Tours, the chance to discover Arts University Bournemouth up close isn't over!
Campus Tours run on Fridays, starting at 11.00 and lasting approximately one hour. These tours allow you to explore our creative campus and its general facilities with one of our student ambassadors, so that you can get a feel for the AUB vibe.
Upcoming Campus Tours
We're running Campus Tours on the following dates.
What to expect from Campus Tours
Unlike Open Days, Campus Tours run on teaching days, so they won't allow you access into individual studios, halls of residence, or the opportunity to speak to academic teams. If you're more interested in these opportunities, book onto one of our Open Days, which'll offer you the complete experience of visiting AUB.
You can, however, visit services such as Admissions, Student Support and our Students' Union during the tours.
Campus Tours FAQs
Here are a few frequently asked questions from visitors to our Campus Tours.
Our Campus Tours start at 11.00 and usually last an hour. Make sure you arrive at our Reception in University House for around 10.45 so our Ambassadors can sign you in before the tour begins.
Our campus tours are hosted by our Student Ambassadors – they'll give you a guided tour of campus and our general facilities. You'll also have the opportunity to ask they about their experiences of being a student at AUB.
Unless for service and support, dogs aren't allowed indoors. Otherwise, dogs are welcome to all outdoor areas of our campus.
Following the campus tour, you can meet our Student Services, Wellbeing, Admissions and Finance teams if you have any queries (subject to staff availability on the day). If you'd like to meet our Disability Support team, we recommend letting us know in advance so we can arrange a one-to-one slot for you.
Our security team set aside car parking spaces for our campus tour visits. When you arrive, let them know you're here for the tour and they'll direct you on where you can park.
Our campus tours are a separate experience to Open Days. Due to taking place during teaching, they won't provide access to our dedicated spaces, studios or accommodation.
We'd recommend booking an Open Day if you haven't already, as these offer the full AUB experience. Open Days feature course-specific talks and workshops, along with more general talks on finance, accommodation, admissions and overall information about AUB. There's also the opportunity to view our studio spaces and on-site and nearby accommodation – campus tours are available too.
Our academics won't be available to speak with during campus tours due to teaching hours. Feel free to reach out to our current Student Ambassadors via our Unibuddy scheme if you have any questions about your course or student life at AUB.
Our campus tours take place at fixed times. If you're not able to make it, feel free to collect a campus map from Reception and explore AUB for yourself. Like the campus tours, our dedicated spaces, studios and accommodation will be restricted.
