Open Day information

Whilst you're welcome to bring more than one guest with you to attend an Open Day, please be advised that due to our ongoing Covid safety precautions on campus and reduced maximum room capacities, we're only able to accommodate one guest per prospective student in the course talks.

The day runs from 9.30-15.30, and there's lots to do. Our course talks are repeated three times (9.50, 11.10 and 12.30) throughout the day, you'll meet course leaders and have your questions answered, learn more about practical details such as entry requirements and funding options, chat with student ambassadors, tour the campus, check out our halls of residence, and maybe even try your hand at a creative activity or two.

We'll talk you through what it's like to be a postgraduate student at AUB and the support available for international students, and we'll also give you an insight into the course programmes.

This is your opportunity to meet our international team to find out more about the application process, English Language requirements, presessional courses, visa information and much more! A chance to also ask questions which you may have about studying at Arts University Bournemouth

You will also meet programme award leaders who are ready to answers all your questions!

Here are some helpful tips for experiencing the event online:

  • The platform used will be Zoom
  • Our International team will be hosting a session from 14.45-15.30 for our international students, we'll help guide you through how to apply, for visas, immigration and accommodation. At the end of the session you'll have the opportunity to ask any questions to our team.
  • The course talks will be live from 15.30-16.30 and after the session Award Leaders will be hosting a Q&A, this is your opportunity to ask them questions about our Postgraduate courses.

Open Day Hub

We know that not everyone can make it to an Open Day, so we've created a virtual hub that brings together all the information you need to know, whenever you need it.

In our Open Day Hub, you can watch live and recorded course talks, chat with current students, explore our 360 virtual campus and more. We've got everything you need to decide whether we're the university for you.

You don’t need to attend all day – you’re welcome to arrive and leave when you wish. We have many activities and tours to get involved with during the event so if you wish to make the most of these we recommend staying for the length of the event.

Please note: a few specific courses only host one talk that isn’t repeated, this will be easily identifiable when you make a booking. Please make a note of this when booking and be aware if you choose one of these talks.
