AUB Academy Summer Courses 2026 Access and Participation Discount
We're committed to equal access to creative education and careers. As such, for Summer 2026 AUB Academy are delighted to offer a discount on 2-Week Summer Courses (13–18 yrs) and Creative Arts Summer School (7–15 yrs) for young people who meet the Access and Participation eligibility criteria listed below. This summer we have new courses covering a wide range of creative subjects!

2-Week Summer Courses (13–18 yrs)
On a summer course at AUB, you'll have the chance to experience life as an AUB student, meet fellow creatives from across the globe, progress your artistic abilities in a supportive environment and unlock your creative voice. Perfect if you're considering further creative art and design study.
This year's courses will run from Monday 3 August – Friday 14 August 2026
Courses include:
- Animation
- Architecture
- Commercial Photography
- Creative Art and Design
- Fashion, Textiles and Costume Design
- Filmmaking and Production
- Games Art and Character Design
- Summer Arts Academy
Students meeting one or more of the Access and Participation eligibility criteria can receive a 20% discount on the course fees which makes the course cost £1,439.20 (a saving of £359.80). To receive a discounted place please email academy@aub.ac.uk with a letter from your teacher/professional confirming your eligibility and/or a screenshot showing your postcode eligibility.
You'll then be sent a link to book your course at the discounted price of £1,439.20.
2-Week Summer Courses (13–18yrs)
Our summer courses give students aged 13–18 the chance to learn new creative skills and develop their personal style.
Creative Arts Summer School (7–15 yrs)
Our one-week inclusive, supportive, and vibrant Creative Arts Summer School courses allow young artists to set their imaginations free and find their creative voices. Plus, they’ll make friends and have fun along the way, too!
This year's courses are running in July and August 2026.
Courses include:
- Art Explorers, ages 7-9 (Art and Design)
- Creative Artists, ages 10-12 (Art and Design)
- Creative Video and VFX – Summer Feature Film
- Dance, Movement and Performance Express
- Fashion Design and Styling
- Fine Art Festival
- Special FX and Character Makeup
Students meeting one or more of the Access and Participation eligibility criteria can receive a 20% discount making the course cost £295.20 (a saving of £73.80). All course materials and resources are included in the price.
To receive a discounted place please email academy@aub.ac.uk with a letter from your teacher/professional confirming your eligibility and/or a screenshot showing your postcode eligibility. You'll then be sent a link to book your course at the discounted price of £295.20.
Creative Arts Summer School (7–15yrs)
Our five-day inclusive, supportive, and vibrant courses for young learners encourage them find their creative voices.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for a discounted place, students must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- They're currently in receipt of Free School Meals or eligible for Free School Meal if home-schooled.
- They're in local authority care or looked after for three months or more.
- They're a Young Carer.
- They're from a Gypsy, Roma, Traveller, Showman, or Boater community.
- They have a parent who's served, or is currently serving, in the UK armed forces.
- They're studying at an alternative provision.
- They're a refugee.
- Current home postcode shows that you live in an area with low levels of progression to Higher Education falling within TUNDRA LSOA quintiles 1 and 2.
- Current home postcode shows that you live in an area that falls within the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) quintiles 1,2,3, or 4.
Eligibility for the TUNDRA LSOA measure can be checked on the OfS website (postcodes in quintiles 1 and 2 qualify). Eligibility for the Index of Multiple Deprivation measure can be checked via the IMD postcode checker (postcodes in IMD quintiles 1, 2, 3 and 4 qualify).
