Accommodation special offers – T&Cs

Promoter

1. The promoter is Arts University Bournemouth (“AUB”).

Eligibility

1. The prize draw is open to applicants who book AUB-managed accommodation for the 2026/27 academic year.
2. Students who booked eligible accommodation before the launch of this promotion will automatically be entered.
3. Students who subsequently book eligible accommodation, including through Clearing, will also be automatically entered, provided their accommodation booking is confirmed before the published prize draw closing date.
4. No separate registration is required.
5. One automatic entry per eligible student.

The Prize

1. One winner will receive their first year’s eligible AUB-managed accommodation free.
2. The prize will be awarded by AUB meeting the winner’s eligible first-year accommodation charges, up to the value of their accommodation contract and subject to a maximum value of £10,000.
3. The prize applies only to eligible first-year AUB-managed accommodation and excludes tuition fees, deposits, travel costs, living expenses and any other expenditure.
4. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available. The winning student would not be entitled to receive a £1,000 rent bursary via AUB’s Access and Participation Plan or any other additional financial support for accommodation costs.

Award of the Prize

1. Before the prize is awarded, the selected winner must:
   1. Successfully enrol at Arts University Bournemouth.
   2. Commence their course.
   3. Move into their booked AUB-managed accommodation.
2. Where accommodation charges have not been paid, AUB may settle those charges directly against the student’s accommodation account.
3. Where accommodation charges have already been paid, AUB may refund those accommodation payments to the student.
4. The total value awarded will never exceed the value of the student’s accommodation contract or £10,000, whichever is lower.
5. If the winner withdraws from the University or their accommodation agreement changes before the accommodation account has been fully settled, AUB reserves the right to amend the value of the prize to reflect the accommodation charges payable under the student’s final accommodation agreement.
6. If the selected winner is no longer eligible to receive the prize, AUB reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Winner Selection

1. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries one month after the competition closes.
2. The winner will be contacted using the details held on their applicant or student record.
3. If the winner cannot be contacted, declines the prize or fails to respond within 14 days, AUB reserves the right to draw another winner.

General

1. The closing date for entries is 23.59 (11.59 PM) on Sunday 26 September 2027.
2. By booking eligible accommodation, entrants are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
3. AUB reserves the right to verify eligibility and to amend, suspend or withdraw the promotion where reasonably necessary.
4. Personal data will be processed in accordance with AUB’s Privacy Notice.
5. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

New AUB students who book a room at Home Park Halls of Residence, (excluding Rebookers 27) for the 2027/28 academic year will be eligible to receive an annual bus pass (Go South Coast Travel) worth up to £350, subject to the following terms and conditions:

• Only AUB students who sign up to a legally binding full 44- or 51-week contract for the 2027/28 academic year in Home Park, on or before 31 August 2027, are eligible for this offer.
• The annual bus pass will be purchased and added to the eligible student’s account on the bus app. Eligible students agree to sharing their account details with AUB for this purpose.
• In the event that AUB or any student cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of or during the 44- or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
• Eligibility is only given to the student who makes the initial booking of the named accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the student finds another student to take over their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, the student will no longer be eligible and be required to refund the cost of the annual bus pass to AUB.*
• This is issued on a per-property basis and isn't transferable across properties within the AUB portfolio. If the student moves property, they'll no longer be eligible and will be required to refund the cost of the annual bus pass to AUB.*
• This offer isn't applicable in conjunction with any other offer unless explicitly stated.

*If a refund of the annual bus pass costs is required by AUB, it'll be initially deducted from the students’ accommodation deposit, with the remaining sum invoiced by AUB for payment within 14 working days.

These terms and conditions are correct as of 7 October 2026, but AUB reserves the right to change them at any time without prior notice.

AUB offer holders who book a room at Campus Halls, Home Park or Madeira Road for the 2027/28 academic year within 48 hours of firmly accepting their offer to study, (or initial room release if you get your offer before March) will receive a £200 discount.

Continuing AUB students who book a room under Rebookers 27 at Home Park for academic year 2027/28 before 31 January 2027 will receive a £200 discount.

• Only eligible to AUB students who sign up to a legally binding full 42-, 44- or 51-week contract for the 2027/28 academic year.
• In the event that AUB or any student cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of or during the 42-, 44- or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
• Discount will be applied to final rent instalment and only where the eligible student has no rent arrears.
• Eligibility is only given to the student who makes the initial booking of the named accommodation and is non-transferable.
• This offer isn't applicable in conjunction with any other offer unless explicitly stated.
