What to expect
The day is open to all creative students in Year 13 in Sixth Form, or in their final year at college, who are considering applying for the Foundation Diploma for entry in September 2026.
You'll have the chance to receive feedback on your current work, hear what we’re looking for in a creative portfolio, and ask plenty of questions. As part of this event, you'll have the option to submit your portfolio in advance for a personalised, one-on-one review with a tutor. While portfolio submission is voluntary – we highly recommend it to get the most out of the event.
As part of the day, you'll also have the opportunity to tour our campus and participate in a practical taster session with a Foundation tutor.

- 09.45–10.00: Welcome talk
- 10.00–10.30: Portfolio talk
- 10.30–11.15: Student panel
- 11.15–12.00: Campus tours
- 12.00–12.45: Lunch*
- 12.45–14.45: Review sessions
- 14.45–15.00: Evaluation and goodbye
*Don’t worry about lunch – it’s on us! A sandwich, crisps, fruit, and a drink will be provided. You'll have the opportunity to submit any dietary requirements or allergies as part of the booking process.
