Event overview
Our Summer Shows embody the values at the heart of the culture of innovation, collaboration and passion at Arts University Bournemouth (AUB).
On Thursday 13 August at 18.00, we invite students and their families, alumni, industry partners and visitors, to experience the creativity and ambition that define AUB. Set within the Gallery, this special evening offers the perfect backdrop to celebrate our postgraduate student work and achievements.
The Postgraduate Summer Show 2026 is a dynamic celebration of student achievement, showcasing a rich and diverse cross-section of work from across our MA programmes. As part of AUB’s growing and prestigious Postgraduate Show portfolio, the exhibition presents new, challenging and thought-provoking creative practice.
For many of our emerging practitioners, this marks the first time their ideas and research are shared publicly a significant milestone in their professional journeys. We're proud to witness and celebrate this moment alongside them.
The exhibition also reflects one of AUB’s greatest strengths: the diversity of our postgraduate community. Students from across the world bring global perspectives, cultures and creative traditions that enrich our university, alongside mature students whose varied life experiences, professional insight and resilience demonstrate that creativity is lifelong and that there's no single path into creative practice.
The MA courses at AUB offer a personalised, industry-focused experience designed to extend creative practice, deepen critical thinking and connect students with professional networks. Whether they're specialising, reinventing or accelerating a creative career, AUB provides the environment, expertise and opportunities for postgraduate students to flourish.
The event will be complete with a summer soundtrack, curated live by TheGallery’s own professional DJ, William Hernandez Abreu.
