Guest tickets

Each graduand is entitled to bring a maximum of two guests to attend their ceremony. These guest tickets can be purchased for £25 each through the online graduation booking site.

We'll notify you by email when registration opens (March 2023) and include the link.

Purchasing a guest ticket

Please be sure to buy your guest ticket(s) before the registration deadline. We can’t guarantee guest tickets after this deadline.

As a graduand, you don’t have to buy a ticket to attend Graduation, but your guests will require tickets if they wish to attend the ceremony and enter the post-ceremony beach Marquee reception. Graduands will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the post-ceremony reception. Tickets must be shown at the entrance – both at the ceremony and at the reception. No ticket, no entry, no exceptions.

If you don’t buy guest tickets – or only buy one guest ticket – when you register to attend graduation, you can return to the booking site later to buy a second ticket but before the deadline to purchase up to your two-guest ticket maximum.

If you need to cancel your attendance and/or your guest ticket(s), please contact us at graduation@aub.ac.uk and we’ll cancel your booking and provide a refund for your guest tickets (if before seven days of your ceremony). Please refer to our Cancellation/Refund Policy for further details.

There are some limited reserved seats available for those requiring special assistance. Please notify us when booking your tickets for any guests requiring special assistance. Read more about how we can accommodate accessibility requirements.

If residing in the UK, we will post your guest tickets to you in June. Please ensure you provide an up-to-date mailing address that you will have access to in June. We do not accept campus halls addresses.

If you are due to move out of your accommodation in June, please provide a different address where you can guarantee you will have access to receiving it. Please understand we are unable to provide replacement tickets for any guest tickets that go missing or get lost in the post.

If you are unable to provide another mailing address, please select Ticket Collection in the online registration form when you book to attend graduation. Your tickets will be available to pick up on the day of your ceremony at the venue. You'll need to show your photo ID to collect your tickets.

International students – Please select Ticket Collection in the online registration form when you book to attend graduation. Your tickets will be available to pick up on the day of your ceremony at the venue. You'll need to show your photo ID to collect your tickets.

Regrettably, we are not able to offer extra guest tickets beyond the two-guests-per-graduand limit. This is due to venue capacity.

Guest tickets are non-transferrable. Unfortunately, we're unable to transfer tickets between guests.

Guests without tickets will not be able to attend either the ceremony nor the reception.

Instead, they may watch the ceremony proceedings as they are live-streamed on the AUB graduation webpage at no cost.

Friends or family without guest tickets can join you for photos after the ceremony if you’ve purchased them in advance from Ede & Ravenscroft. Groups of up to 6 people (including graduate) can participate in the photos.

Unfortunately, we're unable to provide replacement tickets for any guest tickets or graduate reception tickets that go missing. When your tickets arrive in the post, please keep them safe and remember to bring them with you to your graduation ceremony.
