Guest tickets

Each graduand is entitled to bring a maximum of two guests to attend their ceremony. These guest tickets can be purchased for £25 each through the online graduation booking site.

We'll notify you by email when registration opens (16 March 2026) and include the link.

Purchasing a guest ticket

Please be sure to buy your guest ticket(s) before the registration deadline. We can’t guarantee guest tickets after this deadline.

Guests require an e-ticket that will allow them to enter both the Pavilion Theatre for the ceremony and Beach Marquee reception. The e-ticket allows access to both venues and only one ticket per person can be used. It is essential that you distribute your guest tickets to your guests before the ceremony – we recommend doing this at least one day before the event.

To gain entry, guests will show their e-ticket to staff on the door to the Pavilion (it will contain their pre-allocated seat number which Pavilion staff can direct to), then keep hold of it and re-show it at the marquee to gain entry at which point it will be scanned and you’ll be given a drinks token to exchange for a glass of fizz or non-alcoholic alternative.

Please note: due to the scanning of e-tickets, you won't be able to use the same ticket for multiple guests as this will be flagged upon entry. Those with tickets that have already been scanned will be denied entry.

E-tickets will be sent out approximately seven days prior to the event to the graduand. The graduand will then need to share the guest tickets with their guests.

Graduands will also have an e-ticket. On arrival at the gowning room, please show your e-ticket; we'll have a registration list and will tick you off. Please keep it safe as you'll need it to enter the Beach Marquee.

For health and safety reasons, venues are strictly "no ticket, no entry", so please do keep your e-tickets safe. We can't admit anyone without a ticket so please ensure your guests have been sent their tickets.

If you don’t buy guest tickets – or only buy one guest ticket – when you register to attend graduation, you can return to the booking site later to buy a second ticket but before the deadline of 29 May 2026 to purchase up to your two-guest ticket maximum.

If you need to cancel your attendance and/or your guest ticket(s), please contact Marston Events and they'll cancel your booking and provide a refund for your guest tickets if up to seven days before your ceremony. Please refer to their Cancellation/Refund Policy for further details.

It's important we keep the Pavilion (ceremony location), PDSW (photography location), and Beach Marquee (post-ceremony reception location) environments as safe and secure as possible. To assist us with this we politely request that you and your guests DO NOT bring large bags/backpacks/suitcases into these venues.

Please ensure you make alternative arrangements for safe storage of larger items – note that we don't have storage facilities on site at any of the locations used for graduation.

All e-tickets will be sent approximately seven days prior to the event.

Initially, we're only able to offer two guest tickets per graduand, priced at £25 per ticket.

If you wish to purchase more tickets you must indicate this interest on the ‘waitlist’ function during registration, we recommend doing this even if you're unsure if you'll need them. You have no obligation to purchase the waitlisted tickets, but it gives us an idea of demand for tickets.

If we're in a position to offer further tickets, we'll advise all graduands in advance of the on-sale date and tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

Please don't email the Graduation team requesting extra tickets as we'll need to decline your request.

Guest tickets are non-transferrable. Unfortunately, we're unable to transfer tickets between guests.

Guests without tickets will not be able to attend either the ceremony nor the reception.

Instead, they may watch the ceremony proceedings, as these are live-streamed on the AUB graduation webpage at no cost.

Friends or family without guest tickets can join you for photos after the ceremony if you’ve purchased them in advance from Marston Events. Groups of up to six people (including graduate) can participate in the photos.

Unfortunately, we're unable to provide replacement tickets for any guest tickets or graduate reception tickets that go missing. As we're using e-tickets, it's essential phones are charged and the e-ticket is available on screen or in print form; without viewing this, we're unable to permit access into the venues.
