Course information

Created specifically for blossoming artists aged 10–12, this exciting course helps students harness their imagination while building stronger art and design skills. Projects are thoughtfully tailored to this age group, offering more advanced challenges that encourage creative thinking, problem-solving, and personal expression.

Each term brings fresh and engaging projects, giving returning students the opportunity to strengthen skills learned previously while discovering new techniques and creative pathways.

Young artists are guided by friendly, experienced teaching staff who are passionate about supporting young learners. Students work in our state-of-the-art studio spaces and use industry-standard tools and materials, offering a fun introduction to how creative industries work. Along the way, they’ll share ideas and talk about their work in an encouraging, respectful, and inclusive environment.

Each week introduces new art and design skills using real tools, equipment, and techniques. No prior experience is required – just curiosity, enthusiasm, and clothes ready for a bit of creative mess.

We recognise the incredible potential of young creatives. Throughout the course, students are supported to explore their talents, grow in confidence, and begin shaping their future creative possibilities.

Above all, we celebrate individuality. Young artists are encouraged to develop their own style, build on existing interests, and create a unique visual language – all while feeling included, respected, and supported every step of the way on their creative journey with us.
