Exhibition overview

AUB Students’ Union (AUBSU), in partnership with TheGallery and AUB International, present AUB International Collective. This is a unique collaboration that embraces artwork created by students with different cultural and religious backgrounds.

This show demonstrates the range of skills and specialisms of international students currently studying at Arts University Bournemouth, specifically those on a student visa. International students have been invited to submit work across a whole range of disciplines with the final exhibition, including pieces from ongoing projects, past work and new creations.

International events at AUB

By becoming part of our International Community you’ll gain so much more than just a creative degree. You’ll gain friends, experiences and knowledge from across the world.

To make you feel as at home (away from home) as possible, we run events throughout the year bringing students together to feel supported, to make new friends and to learn about new cultures. These events include Lunar New Year, Norwuz, Holi and more! We ask our students what they want to celebrate on campus, and do our best to make it happen by working with you, and AUBSU.

Festivals we're celebrating this year include:

Purple poster with bunting along the top and text reading "the festival of colours". Illustration of four people throwing coloured paint appears along the bottom.

Holi

Each year, AUB brings the vibrant celebration of Holi, the Indian Festival of Colours, to life on campus!

Blue poster with the shadow of an octopus across the page and little fish and coral dotted around. White text appears in the top right reading "7 Seas International Festival" and a white octopus icon next to it.
