AUB Students’ Union (AUBSU), in partnership with TheGallery and AUB International, present AUB International Collective. This is a unique collaboration which embraces artwork created by students with different cultural and religious backgrounds.
This show demonstrates the range of skills and specialisms of international students currently studying at Arts University Bournemouth, specifically those on a student visa. International students were invited to submit work across a whole range of disciplines with the final exhibition including pieces from ongoing projects, past work and new creations.
Opening night
Date: 1 May 2024, 17.00–18.30
Location: Main Gallery, AUB Campus
We invite you and your guests to AUB International Collective exhibition’s opening night. This opening night will also celebrate the talent of AUB's Foundation Diploma in Art, Design and Media students studying on the Photography Pathway in their exhibition, Proto.
AUBSU x TheBUG
AUBSU's TheBUG network provides a dedicated platform for showcasing AUB student and alumni talent. TheBUG symbolises everything the Students' Union does towards the representation of student talent.
TheBUG oversees opportunities for students to showcase their talent to the outside world, as well as the creative community in and around campus with our very own student gallery spaces. These are operated by the students themselves and are available throughout the year for students to curate their own exhibitions and events with the help of TheBUG and the AUBSU team.
AUB International
With such a diverse body of students and staff, our creative community thrives upon innovative thinking and global-minded individuals. In 2024, our international student community consists of over 700 students, and we have staff and students from over 60 different countries.
We're deeply proud of our international community and we work to ensure they feel welcomed, at home and that they’re celebrated.
TheGallery
TheGallery is a national and international public platform for the arts within the UK. Throughout the year, we work with teams and courses across the University to provide students with opportunities to showcase their work, promoting the University’s shared passion for excellence in education, industry, and the art sector. AUB International Collective Exhibition is an example of one of these collaborative projects, this time with AUBSU and AUB International.
