Take your creative practice somewhere new
Spend a term or academic year at Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) and become part of our creative community in the UK.
Study alongside AUB undergraduate degree students, develop your practice in specialist studios and facilities, experience life on England's south coast, and earn academic credit to take back to your home university.
You don't need to study at an AUB partner university. If you're currently studying at a university overseas, you can apply directly to AUB for our fee-paying Study Abroad programme.

BA (Hons) Animation Production
Develop your animation practice in one of the UK's leading specialist creative environments. Work collaboratively in a studio culture while developing skills across drawing, pre-production and animation production.

BA (Hons) Photography
Develop an individual photographic practice while exploring the expanding possibilities of contemporary image-making. Combine creative experimentation with critical thinking, technical development and an understanding of where your work sits within contemporary visual culture.

Entry requirements
If you wish to apply for Study Abroad at AUB, you must provide the following:
- Portfolio – showing examples of previous and existing work.
- Personal statement – explaining what you wish to gain by studying abroad at AUB (maximum 500 words).
- Letter of recommendation – this should be from someone at your university, college or workplace.
- Confirmation of an IELTS overall score* of:
- 4.5 or equivalent (Foundation Diploma)
- 5.0 or equivalent (up to 6 months for any undergraduate course)
- 6.0 or equivalent (3 terms for any undergraduate course).

Make Bournemouth your home
Study Abroad students get to stay at our Home Park Halls of Residence, which is based in Bournemouth town centre.
With this accommodation, you get:

The accommodation is located close to shops, public transport (buses and trains), and Bournemouth Beach.
Current rate: £219 per week, with approximately 12–13 weeks per academic term.
