Meet the Maker events are run in conjunction with Dorset makers bringing together theory, practice and networking as you learn a new skill with like-minded creatives.
Meet Kelly Morgan, founder of Morgan and Worth Millinery. Kelly is a BA (Hons) Costume and MA Fine Art graduate. Originally from the United States, Kelly chose to start her business in Dorset producing exquisite handmade millinery that includes hats and bespoke headpieces.
Join us for a summer drink where you will hear from Kelly about her experience and practice of millinery, followed by a 2.5 hour workshop to make your own turban headband, like the one in the photo above – a hot trend for 2019!
We will also be on hand to discuss opportunities for research and innovation grant funding and ongoing access to Arts University Bournemouth's facilities under ERDF programme. Please see below for eligibility.
