This course has been created specifically for photographers with little or no post-production knowledge or experience. Combining both Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop programs you'll explore the most efficient and effective methods to maximise digital workflow solutions and explore the many creative possibilities for attaining image perfection.

About this course
Using Mac computers or your own laptop (you must have access to Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop programs), you'll be guided through the process of how to manage your digital workflow and output high-quality images through Adobe Lightroom Classic and Adobe Photoshop for web and print outputs.
You'll learn and explore the most commonly used commands and techniques to improve your workflow and examine the myriads of creative possibilities available to give your images maximum impact.
Starting with RAW files you'll be shown how to process and then prepare your images for various web and digital outputs, including high-resolution print output. This will lead to discussions around print and where your images maybe placed after the digital process has concluded.
You'll move between Adobe Lightroom Classic and Adobe Photoshop programs understanding, viewing, and appreciating where the programs complement each other, and where each individual program excels. You'll be shown how to automate processes, combine exposures and create composites, work with layers and make calculated adjustments to enhance your photographs. You'll also be shown how to create composites as well as portrait retouching-enhancement techniques.
Nearing the end of your course, you will have the opportunity to have several of your best creative images printed using AUB’s high-end industry level inkjet printing resources.

- Constructing and uploading sophisticated web galleries

- Retouching
- File sizing
- Explanation of DPI and PPI terms and applications
- Photo-printer properties, print resolutions, colour space, and printing profiles
- Photo-printer inks, inkjet papers and paper profiles
At the end of the course you'll:
- Possess a comprehensive overview and understanding with hands-on experience working with Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop
- Develop a better understanding of the key features of digital workflow and increase creative potential in post-production
- Gain confidence in applying post-production techniques and utilise common actions to speed up the post-production process
- Gain comprehensive keys skills required to prepare images for web, various digital outputs, and for photo-printing purposes
- Possess improved artistic skills
- Have increased confidence in your own skills and feel inspired
- Have boosted creativity and imagination
- Possess the foundations to continue creating beyond this course

Will I be assessed?
No, there's no formal assessment. As the course progresses your tutor will measure your overall performance and offer essential guidance and feedback, so you know how you're getting on.
