The UK fashion industry is seeing increased investment in technology, particularly in areas like AI, sustainable practices, and digital transformation. This is driven by a desire to improve efficiency, enhance customer experience, and address sustainability concerns. The UK government and organisations like UK Research and Innovation are actively supporting this trend with funding for research and development. By 2030 fashion companies are predicted to invest between 3-3.5% of their revenues into technology.
