I am a fashion editorial artist with a passion for creating bold, visually-striking imagery that combines storytelling with strong artistic direction. My work is recognised for its use of bright colours, high contrast and powerful visual narratives that aim to capture attention while communicating meaningful messages. Through fashion photography and editorial projects, I explore themes of identity, individuality and self-expression, creating images that are both aesthetically engaging and conceptually-driven.
I draw inspiration from a wide range of sources, including documentary and fashion photographers, art and cultural movements, music and cinema. These influences shape the way I approach each project, helping me develop narratives that evoke emotion, challenge expectations and celebrate diverse perspectives. I am particularly interested in how visual elements can be used to tell stories and create connections between the subject and the audience.
A key aspect of my practice is portraiture. By carefully considering lighting, composition, styling and model direction, I create portraits that reflect the personality and character of each sitter. I aim to make every image feel authentic while maintaining a strong editorial aesthetic. Through my use of vibrant colour palettes, dynamic compositions and expressive subjects, I create contemporary fashion imagery that is energetic, impactful and memorable, continually pushing creative boundaries within editorial photography.
Plans after degree
After I graduate, my goal is to save up and invest in my own camera and professional equipment so I can fully develop my creative practice. I then plan to travel, build connections within the industry and explore a wide range of opportunities that will help me grow both personally and professionally.
Through travelling, I hope to experience different cultures, discover new artistic influences and gain inspiration from diverse people, places and creative communities. These experiences will help me refine my own visual style, strengthen my creative identity and further develop my editorial practice. Before entering the industry full-time, I want to take the time to experiment, learn and build a body of work that truly reflects my vision and the stories I want to tell through photography.
