This is a costume for the character of Titania from Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The idea behind it is to create a piece that seamlessly blends historical aspects of the 17th century, particularly the Baroque style, with whimsical and fantasy elements that come together to create a unique piece.

The corset was created using a satin fabric overlaid with a beautiful lace embellished with hand-embroidery details. The skirt combines a unique print that was specifically designed, with references from the play’s script, and printed for this project.

This project celebrates the art of costume design by combining historical fashion with imaginative fantasy. It invites viewers into a world where history and magic intertwine, making Queen Titania's costume a truly unique and captivating piece.
