Date and time: Saturday 18 October 2025, 11.00–19.00

Location: Palace Court Theatre, Bournemouth

Come and celebrate the power of storytelling through film, craft and textiles at AUB’s Palace Court Theatre in Bournemouth.

Curated by Dr Emma Shercliff (AUB), this very special event brings together felted animations produced by Jessica Jacobs’ AHRC-funded Storytelling for All project with Kirstie Macleod’s internationally acclaimed Red Dress project. Throughout the day, you can enjoy a series of shorts featuring Bedouin stories told in felt, alongside an exhibition and workshop that reveal how stories of life and work are stitched into fabric. The day will end with a lively panel discussion featuring Sinai Stories collaborators, artist Kirstie Macleod, and cross-cultural textile craft experts, exploring how textiles carry stories of labour, heritage and identity.
