A dynamic, fascinating drama with a captivating insight into how the gothic horror classic came to be written by local teen legend Mary Godwin, A.K.A. Mary Shelley. This production is a freshly reworked adaptation from the Artistic Director of Dorset Corset Theatre, Helen Watts.

The production features the main characters surrounding the original conception of Frankenstein, Byron, Shelley and Mary, near Lake Geneva in 1816.  The main characters from the novel will also feature as the drama unfolds.

The story – and the monster – live on, casting a dim light on the growing tensions between humanity and monstrosity.

Content warning: This production contains depictions of violence and challenging themes including body horror, death and psychological trauma.
