BA (Hons) Animation Production's 2014 graduation animation 'The Shipping Forecast' goes coastal in SEA/FILM screening

They use film and culture to inspire new connections, conversation and community. By supporting local emerging talent; like filmmakers and creative people with a platform to showcase their work. They also bring in people and film from outside the region for inspiring events and experimental cinema.

The 2014 AUB graduation animation ‘The Shipping Forecast’ was invited to take part in the first-ever Sea/Film event ‘Going Coastal’. A screening featuring short films about oceans, marine life and coastal communities. The sold out screening took place on the 17th July 2019 at Koda Coffee, Scarborough.

‘The Shipping forecast’ was one of six short films in a programme that showcased documentary, animation and experimental all related to issues concerning the coast.
