Formed with long-term collaborator David Sproxton in 1972, the company first found success with clay character Morph, who starred in his own series, The Amazing Adventures of Morph, after which the company produced TV series Shaun the Sheep and Creature Comforts, as well as feature films Chicken Run, Arthur Christmas, and the Wallace and Gromit series of films.
Peter is also credited with ensuring the long term independence of the studio, with Aardman Productions becoming an employee owned business in 2018, in order to secure the creative legacy and culture of the company for future generations.
