Who's this course for?

This course has been developed for aspiring artists aged 7–9.

Please note: we can't accept young artists below 7 years-old on this course.

Does my young artist need any qualifications or experience?

No. This is an introductory course, so your young artist doesn't need any previous experience, just buckets of enthusiasm!

What's included in this price?

  • All course materials and resources
  • Lunch, served in the Refectory at AUB
  • Everything your young artist will need to take part in the course will be provided by us – no hidden costs!

Classes are practical, so wear clothes that you don't mind your young artists getting messy.

Lunch is included in the course fee; however, you may wish to provide additional drinks and snacks for break time and duration of class. Please ensure snacks don't contain nuts.

It's strongly advised that mobile phones, tablets and other valuables aren't brought to class. Any personal possessions are the responsibility of your young artist and AUB won't be liable for any loss or damage.

About this course

In this exciting workshop, students will explore the world of 3D design by experimenting with a variety of craft materials and techniques. Using mediums such as mod rock, recycled items, and other art supplies, children will learn to craft unique art pieces that combine creativity with simple, effective methods. Designed to foster confidence, problem-solving, and imaginative expression, everyone will leave with their own original artwork – and a big smile!

This lively course encourages playful experimentation and hands-on creation, providing children with essential craft skills while exploring their artistic ideas. With a focus on fun and confidence-building, students will create engaging 3D projects that showcase their imagination and craftsmanship.

  • Basic skills in designing and building three-dimensional art pieces
  • How to work with different mediums, including mod rock and recycled materials
  • Creative techniques for shaping, assembling, and decorating 3D projects
  • The importance of using recycled and sustainable materials in art-making
  • Confidence in expressing ideas through hands-on craft activities

Participants will have crafted their own original 3D art pieces, displayed proudly in a mini exhibition.
