Overview

Create your own version of famous artworks and dream up new masterpieces!

Explore different art styles – from collage and painting to sculpture - drawing inspiration from art legends like Picasso, Monet, and Van Gogh. Children aged 7-9 years will experiment with colours, textures, and tools to craft their own vibrant artworks, culminating in a mini-gallery exhibition.

Who's this course for?

This course has been developed for aspiring artists aged 7–9.

Please note: we can't accept young artists under 7 years-old on this course.

Does my young artist need any qualifications or experience?

No. This is an introductory course, so your young artist doesn't need any previous experience, just buckets of enthusiasm!

What's included in this price?

  • All course materials and resources
  • Lunch, served in the Refectory at AUB
  • Everything your young artist will need to take part in the course will be provided by us – no hidden costs!

Classes are practical, so wear clothes that you don't mind your young artists getting messy.

Lunch is included in the course fee; however, you may wish to provide additional drinks and snacks for break time and duration of class. Please ensure snacks don't contain nuts.

It's strongly advised that mobile phones, tablets and other valuables aren't brought to class. Any personal possessions are the responsibility of your young artist and AUB won't be liable for any loss or damage

About this course

On this dynamic course, children will dive into the world of famous artworks and discover the stories behind legendary masters like Picasso, Monet, and Van Gogh. With hands-on activities spanning collage, painting, sculpture, and more, young artists will develop confidence in their artistic abilities while having fun in a supportive environment.

A perfect introduction to art for young beginners, this course combines education, creativity, and play. Kids will learn new techniques, experiment with colours and textures, and most importantly, express themselves freely. By the end of the course their vibrant creations will be showcased in a mini-gallery exhibition.
