None – this is an introductory course. We have no formal academic entry requirements for our short courses.

About this course
Adobe Premiere Pro is a powerful and industry-standard tool used by filmmakers and editors, to combine video, audio and still images. Mastering this software will enable you to develop your knowledge in film editing and compilation.
Understanding how to use Adobe Premiere Pro gives you many advantages. When you have total control over the vast number of effects and tools available within the program and know how to utilise them efficiently, you’ll be able to edit your films with ease and work faster and more flexibly.
Through a series of exciting projects and workshops you'll learn about starting a new project, organisation and managing clips and sequences in the timeline. You’ll also get to grips with editing tools, video effects, colour correction and grading, titles, and motion, audio tracks, exporting in a variety of formats, and more.
Whether you're passionate about moving image or wish to build your skills in film editing, this course will give you a strong portfolio that shows off your skills and the confidence to start your own projects.
- Learning the Adobe Premiere Pro workspaces, including editing, and effects
- Non-linear editing in the timeline
- Colour correction and grading, including LUTs
- Transitions and special effects
- Titles and animations
- In-app audio correction
- Exporting and codecs

No, there is no formal assessment. As the course progresses your tutor will measure your overall performance and offer essential guidance and feedback, so you know how you're getting on.
