Experience or qualifications required

We have no formal academic entry requirements for our short courses.

However, to benefit most from this course you must have a basic understanding of digital graphic design as well as experience using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, and be able to use their core tools. It’s also strongly recommended that you’re familiar with Mac PCs and the iOS operating system.

• Basic design skills, including using shapes, hierarchy, and balance
• Understanding of how Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop work together in creative projects

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, and be able to navigate them with ease and utilise the tools efficiently
• Have developed the confidence whilst working in singular applications and using them as a powerful set of cross-platform tools

Will I be assessed?

No, there is no formal assessment. You’ll group share your work at the end of each session with the intention to support, inspire and encourage each other’s learning. 

As the course progresses your tutor will measure your overall performance and offer essential guidance and feedback so you know how you're getting on.
