Illustration is a way of seeing and understanding the world around us.

Reasons to study

On this course, you’ll explore the excitement of a rapidly evolving discipline, one that blurs boundaries between different kinds of visual creativity. You’ll challenge and interrogate the way that we think about imagery and style. You’ll be a member of a lively community of illustrators exploring and engaging together.

Course content

In our studio environment, you’ll learn to experiment, test, and develop your work through the diverse world of illustrative practices; working with traditional and digital modes.

Course structure

First year is all about allowing you the freedom to experiment and take creative risks, with second and third year focusing on developing your illustrative voice. You also have the option to graduate with a specialist named award.
