Meet our Industry Patron – Paul Cook

Meet the Industry Patron for BA (Hons) Architecture (Part 1 RIBA/ARB) – Paul Cook.

Paul began aged 16 as a construction draughtsman. He later studied architecture at Kingston and worked for Richard Rogers, Grimshaws and RMJM.

As a main board director at Design Research Unit, he led across several large transportation projects. He has covered most industry sectors from the last of Eric Lyons’s celebrated Span housing developments, masterplanning, infrastructure, research laboratories and rail.

Meet our Industry Patron – Tom Davies

Meet the second Industry Patron for BA (Hons) Architecture (Part 1 RIBA/ARB) – Tom Davies.

Tom is a lecturer at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London (UCL), where he provides technical teaching and support in digital fabrication, CNC manufacturing, and bio-based construction. He's also undertaking a PhD exploring the role of bio-based materials in domestic retrofit.

Alongside his teaching, Tom contributes to research projects focused on sustainable construction and natural building materials.
