Rebecca Magness

I’m an aspiring set designer and scenic artist. I have worked on an AUB Productions' The Visit, where I supervised the scenic painting and worked closely with the set designer to bring their design to life. During this, I learnt valuable skills in scenic painting that sparked my interest in the field.

I have also co-designed an interactive museum exhibition for Dorchester Museum called Jane Austen: Down to the Sea alongside my co-designers – during this I learnt how to work collaboratively and efficiently to produce the product for our client. My final major project was designing an interactive and immersive theatrical experience of the Conjuring house, realised in a 1:25 model. The project allowed me to investigate and create a passion for immersive theatre.

Plans after degree

After graduation I plan to find a career in scenic art.
