Grace King-Turner

A multifaceted creative, Grace is a driven, analytical dance artist, guided by a rebellious spirit and intuitive ambition to deconstruct social norms and behaviours.

Merging her background in classical ballet technique with a strong artistic vision, she seeks to produce work which is meticulous, expressive, and nuanced. She also has experience dancing professionally for the Cathy Waller Company’s dance-for-drone film You are also Us. She's modelled both for student projects and professionally, with images published in magazines and journals such as 17:23, as well as being one of the faces of jewellery company Tish Lyon’s national John Lewis campaign.

Outside of the studio, she is an avid yoga enthusiast and practices daily, complemented by her achievement of a 200-hours Vinyasa Yoga teaching qualification. She also holds a love for writing, through which she has fostered her academically enquiring mind, and solo travel.

Plans after degree

Transitioning into work as a producer post-graduation and specialising in live work for stage, Grace has undertaken a range of shadowing placements and work experience within the professional industry. Notably, she's shadowed Jeanette Hinton at Pavilion Dance South West, had work experience with leading dance-circus company Motionhouse, and assistant produced Simeon “Kardinal” Campbell’s SADBOI at Breakin’ Convention 2025 with Lydia Wharf.
