Emilie is an adaptable and attentive dancer and filmmaker who received professional ballet training between 2013-2020 from the London Vocational Ballet School and Elmhurst Ballet Upper School. 

Since pursuing her talent in contemporary dance, she's cultivated her multidisciplinary abilities through several personal projects alongside her dance studies at Arts University Bournemouth. In her second year, Emilie was selected to dance in You Are Also Us, a multi-award-winning dance film by Cathy Waller Company, filmed on Dorset-based National Trust locations using drone technologies. 

Driven by an affinity for filmmaking, Emilie has directed three short films since 2023. Her work is introspective yet dynamic and arises from the interest she has of exploring her inner world. Her second dance film, which she co-directed, choreographed and starred in, Synergy, is completing its film festival run at various international festivals. One of seven awards for Synergy include Best Dance Film at London Women’s Film Festival.

Emilie’s penchant for creating narrative through a dance-film intersection lends well to music video production, an industry within which she aims to develop professional affiliations. For her final major project, Emilie has directed, choreographed and starred in a music video to Falling Together by Jamie xx and Oona Doherty. She plans to continue to work in film, exploring the spaces between film, fashion and dance as a creative director.
