I specialise in printed textiles and hard surface design for interior environments, creating work that explores the relationship between pattern, colour, texture and precision. My practice focuses on developing innovative, tactile and sensory-driven surfaces that enhance the atmosphere and experience of interior spaces. Through a material-led approach, I experiment with layering, repetition and surface manipulation to produce designs that feel both visually engaging and physically interactive.
Skilled in screen printing, laser cutting and tufting, I enjoy combining traditional craft processes with contemporary design techniques to create distinctive outcomes across textiles and hard materials. My work is informed by an interest in spatial experience, materiality and the ways surfaces can influence mood, perception and human interaction within interiors. I am particularly interested in pushing the boundaries of decorative and functional surfaces, using colour and texture to create immersive and thoughtfully considered design solutions.
Plans after degree
My plan after university is to find an intermediate textile design role specialising in printed textiles. I have also been looking into short courses that will allow me to expand my skills and explore different creative avenues.
