Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) is offering a new opportunity for British nationals (residing overseas) to receive up to £10,700 for an undergraduate degree, or up to £10,950 for a postgraduate degree, towards the cost of their tuition fees, bringing them in line with UK tuition fees.

British citizens who've lived outside the UK for over three years, who'd otherwise be required to pay international tuition fees, can now apply for the British National Residing Overseas scholarship.

Eligible students must submit a short statement as part of the scholarship application process explaining why they're in need of the award, how they plan to use the experience to build their future career, and any other relevant information showcasing their creative aspirations.

This is an opportunity for British students who wish to return to the UK to study and build a career in the creative arts but may face obstacles due to higher international fees.

AUB’s International Financial Awards

In addition to the British National Scholarships, AUB offers a range of other financial awards to support talented students from around the globe, ranging from partial fee waivers to partially funded scholarships.

These financial awards are designed to encourage a diverse student environment with the best creative talent in the UK, to support our goal of a multicultural campus.

How to Apply

Students interested in the British National Residing Overseas Scholarship or any of the International Scholarships and financial awards must first apply for a course at AUB. More information on how to apply to study at AUB can be found by visiting the Apply pages.*

Once an application of study is accepted, students will be contacted by email with instructions on how to apply for the relevant financial award through a short application form.

For more detailed information, including eligibility requirements and application deadlines, visit AUB's International Scholarships page.

* Please note: each student will only qualify for one scholarship, bursary or fee waiver – they cannot be stacked. If a student is enrolled part-time, scholarships, bursaries, and fee waivers may be pro-rated to the yearly tuition fees.
