AUB Progression Bursaries

Here you'll find all you need to know about applying to AUB as an international student.

Progression Bursaries

Progression Bursaries are available for all students who have completed either our Foundation course or an Undergraduate programme and wish to progress onto an Undergraduate or Postgraduate programme.

Find out more about the eligibility criteria and application process for each of our Progression Bursaries below.

This award is for students enrolling on the Foundation Diploma at AUB, after having completed a Summer Course or Study Abroad programme at AUB.

Eligibility Criteria

You must:

  • Be, or have completed as an AUB student a Summer Course or Study Abroad programme within the past five years.
  • Have been offered a place on the Foundation Diploma at AUB
  • Be classified as an overseas fee payer (international student) for fee purposes.
  • Submit the scholarship application form by the posted deadline.

Application and Selection Process

The scholarship application form will be forwarded to you by email once you receive an offer of admission. You will need to complete the application form and submit it prior to the application deadline.

If you are successful, you will be sent information about the bursary you have been awarded, which will include instructions on how to accept the offer and what you need to do next.

Please note, this bursary cannot be combined with any other AUB financial award or scholarship.

Summer students applying for Bachelor's degrees?

Students who have completed a Summer Course or Study Abroad programme at AUB who apply for Bachelor's degree programmes at AUB should apply for the International Undergraduate Scholarships. Should applicants for Bachelor's degree programmes who have done a Summer Course or Study Abroad programme at AUB not receive the International Undergraduate Scholarship, they will be eligible for the Summer School and Study Abroad progression award of £2,000.

This award is for students enrolling on an Undergraduate/BA (Hons) degree programme at AUB who have already completed AUB’s Foundation Diploma.

  • Undergraduate Progression Bursary: £3,000 per annum
  • Fees with Undergraduate Progression Bursary: £16,950

Eligibility Criteria

You must:

  • Be a current AUB Foundation Diploma student (or have successfully completed the AUB Foundation Diploma within the last two years).
  • Be classified as an overseas fee payer (international student) for fee purposes.
  • Submit the scholarship application form by the posted deadline.

This award is for students who have completed an Undergraduate/BA (Hons) degree at AUB and are progressing to a Postgraduate/MA programme at AUB.

  • Postgraduate Progression Bursary: £5,000 per annum for MA courses; £3,000 per annum for Master of Architecture.
  • Fees with Postgraduate Progression Bursary: £14,950 for MA; £16,950 for Master of Architecture.

Eligibility Criteria

You must:

  • Be a current AUB Undergraduate student or have completed an AUB Undergraduate degree in the past two years.
  • Have been offered a place on a Postgraduate Programme at AUB.
  • Be classified as an overseas fee payer (international student) for fee purposes.
  • Submit the scholarship application form by the posted deadline.
