Laura Mulhern (Plan Make Do) will provide an interactive and relatable approach to delivering the business and enterprising skills needed to start a successful freelance career as a creative.

Through her own arts marketing and design agency, Storiie, Laura Mulhern has commissioned hundreds of illustrators and artists for creative projects with brands including The National Trust, The British Library, Crafts Council UK, RIO soft drinks, Hall & Woodhouse Brewery and Bournemouth University. She has also worked on award-winning creative marketing campaigns such as the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad and Dorset Moon ft. international artist Luke Jerram and developed and delivered digital marketing strategies for various clients including London’s favourite makers market Crafty Fox, Cirque Bijou’s Extraordinary Bodies and Winchester City Council.

Through this time Laura has also mentored over 400 independent designer makers and illustrators including UK’s current Adobe Creative Resident Octavia Bromell and renowned wood engraver Robin Mackenzie and continues to provide career development resources for creatives through Plan Make Do."
