This very special event is co-hosted by publishers Palgrave Macmillan to launch the Palgrave Animation book series.

The Graduate School is delighted to host Professor Eric Dyer from University of Maryland, Baltimore County as part of its MA Animation Production Leverhulme Trust Visiting Professorship programme awarded to AUB Professor Paul Ward. This event is one of two concluding events to Professor Dyer’s residency and will be a unique chance to hear discussion of his work during the keynote speech.

About this event

Professor Paul Ward (AUB), Dr Caroline Ruddell (Brunel University) alongside authors from the Palgrave Animation series invite you to attend the book series launch.

This event is open to our academic communities, industry communities and civic communities. We particularly welcome attendance from those who wish to find out more about proposing a book for the series and helping to develop Palgrave Animation as we move forward.

The first series book, The Crafty Animator (Ward and Ruddell, 2019), features a chapter on world-renowned animator, Professor Eric Dyer (University of Maryland Baltimore County) who will be present as part of his Visiting Professorship under the Leverhulme Trust.

This event will be followed by a wine reception hosted by Palgrave Macmillan at AUB. This event follows another AUB open event that hosts Professor Eric Dyer as he concludes his five-month Visiting Professorship at AUB.
