Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) is thrilled to announce celebrated American author T.C. Boyle as the latest Industry Patron for MA Creative Writing (Online).
Since publishing his debut collection in 1979, Boyle's established himself as one of contemporary literature’s most prolific and acclaimed voices. Across a career spanning four decades, he’s published more than 30 works of fiction, including 19 novels and 12 short story collections alongside over 150 individual short stories.
Boyle holds a PhD in 19th century British Literature and is Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Southern California (USC), where he founded the undergraduate creative writing programme.
His distinguished career includes winning the PEN/Faulkner Award for his 1987 novel World’s End, the PEN/Malamud Award, and seeing his novel The Road to Wellville adapted into a major feature film starring Anthony Hopkins.
Boyle joins MA Creative Writing (Online)’s current Industry Patron and fellow Californian Michelle Zeitlin, a literary agent, creative producer and Hollywood insider. Through live Q+A sessions and dedicated industry insights, the duo will provide AUB students with direct access to top-tier expertise across the publishing and film sectors, as well as invaluable perspectives on the creative industries.
