Moving Images is the first iteration of Aspect Ratio, the annual screening of graduate work by students of the MA Film Practice (Online) with Arts University Bournemouth (AUB).

Encompassing narrative fiction, artists' moving image, biographical and experimental film, the works shown in this screening have been made by students from throughout the UK and across the globe.

Taking place at the beautiful Palace Court Theatre, this free event is open to the public and will feature the work of eight of the first students to graduate from MA Film Practice (Online) with AUB.

Spanning narrative fiction, documentary, artist moving image and biographical reflection, seven short films will be screened in the theatre auditorium by:

  • Peter Kertesz (Slovakia/Taiwan)
  • Maria Giovanna Colabianchi (Italy/UK)
  • Farid Huseynli (Azerbaijan/UK)
  • Fidel Rodriguez (USA)
  • Kay Stocks (UK)
  • Kyla Rosselli (Switzerland)
  • Kingsley Fernando (Nigeria/UK)

Artist and graduate filmmaker Patricia Wilson Smith will be showing her abstract three-channel moving-image work in the Club Room of Palace Court Theatre. The audience will be able to view the installation both during the event's interval and at the end of the auditorium screening.

Please note: the bar will be open for drinks.
