Andy Stevens graduated from AUB to join the industry as a Toon Boom Harmony and Rigger. Working on small indie productions and advertisements, he funnelled much of his time into animating with cut out rigs, applying a lot of his pipeline knowledge from his MA dissertation into his work.
In 2018 Andy moved to Kilkenny, Ireland, and joined an emerging studio collaboration between Mercury Filmworks and Cartoon Saloon called Lighthouse Studios, starting as an Animator but eventually becoming an Animation Supervisor. Whilst working at Lighthouse Studios, and its sister studios, he's managed to supervise and animate on several exciting projects such as Fox’s The Bob’s Burgers Movie, Netflix’s The Cuphead Show and Hilda, as well as the popular Adult Swim show Rick and Morty and more.
Andy continues to work in the animation department at Lighthouse Studios and is currently planning to develop his own content independently.
