Need to make a step-change in your business?
Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) is one of the top five universities in the South West of England, with a rich history of fostering creativity and innovation.
Whether you're looking to co-develop new products, explore emerging technologies, or future-proof your organisation, AUB offers a suite of services to enable business transformation.
A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) will embed a high-calibre graduate into your organisation and partner you with a leading AUB academic, and is a proven way to help you develop new products and improve your services, giving you an edge over your competitors.
What’s more, KTPs are largely funded by the UK Government, with 67% for SMEs and 50% for large organisations – while your own costs are eligible under the research and development tax credits scheme, reducing your financial contribution.
Thousands of businesses have made use of the scheme over the 50 years it’s been running, with benefits including increased investment in research and development and increased revenue. The partnership can last from one to three years, and, because it’s a collaborative partnership, we work with you to develop the proposal, which massively boosts the chances of the application succeeding.

Explore long-term trends and navigate uncertainty with our facilitated futures thinking sessions. Using strategic foresight tools, we help teams imagine alternative futures and identify emerging opportunities.
Ideal for cross-disciplinary teams, these sessions focus on user-centred innovation, rapid prototyping, and testing ideas that solve complex problems creatively. The workshops include site visits by AUB academic experts to get to the very heart of your business needs and to uncover opportunities for innovation.
The Plastic Innovation and Curation Research Centre (PlastIC) at AUB fosters excellence in research and practice for developing and disseminating knowledge for the benefit of heritage, design, and the future sustainability of plastic products, helping develop new knowledge for museums and manufacturing industries.
