Cyclopic

Industry-engagement and our strong maker culture puts collaboration at the heart of everything we do.

Cyclopic

Developing e-Cyclopic, the world’s first spokeless foldable bike. Supported by European Regional Development Funding (ERDF).

About the project

Cyclopic is a startup engineering business from central Dorset specialising in transport solutions for greener growth in urban areas. One of their latest projects, the E-Cyclopic, a spokeless foldable bike, will be the most compact on the market. The bike has been designed and built by Alan Rallings, the founder of Cyclopic who has over 40 years of knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering, including working on The Thames Barrier and Concorde.

AUB have been supporting Cyclopic on prototyping the bike using technical expertise and free access to our CNC 5 and 3 axis mills, SLS 3D printer. We have also awarded the business an AUB-ERDF innovation grant for design development.
