Yéléna Moss
As part of her Major Project, Yéléna worked on live briefs including costume designer for AUB Productions' The Visit directed by David O'Shea, which took place in the Palace Court Theatre, and as Co-Costume Designer alongside Adelaide Ragan for grad film Machine of Quiet Killing, directed by Raphael Allason. She also re-designed costumes for a hypothetical personal project for Great Expectations set in the 1900-1930s, producing 13 digital designs and a mini mannequin of Miss Havisham's wedding dress, experimenting with costume breakdown.
Throughout her three years studying BA (Hons) Design for Costume and Performance, Yéléna has gained experience in costume design for film and theatre, costume illustration, costume breakdown, sourcing, altering, puppet and prop making, set dressing and scenic art. She loves bringing characters to life through detail, colour, texture and silhouette, as well as working collaboratively alongside other creatives.
Plans after degree
I hope to find work in costume for film/theatre, designing and/or illustrating.
