Sandcastles

Sandcastles is a series of analogue loops, rewinds and natural glitches that explore an intimate perspective of masculinity in a space of fragility as well as the cyclical nature of behaviour that is performed by men in a patriarchal society. The video is shot on Hi-8 tape focusing on men and the beach, combined with diaristic voiceovers to craft narratives around fragility and masculinity.
