CatSick

CatSick is a personal animated project inspired by the deep bond between the creator and her cat, who has always been an emotional support throughout her life. The story is about a young child who cherishes every cat that has ever been part of their life, learning to live with the bittersweet realities of love and loss. The film explores the quiet moments of growth, the impact of the passing of time, and the emotional journey of letting go.

The heart of this story is about learning to live in the present, despite the weight of the past and the uncertainty of the future. It’s a reminder to cherish what we have now and not let the fear of loss prevent us from finding happiness. Through this project, the creator shares not just a story, but a piece of her own journey, using animation as a way to remember, heal and continue growing.

This animation tells a simple story through gentle visuals, capturing emotions beyond words. It’s a reflection on homesickness, love, and growth, showing the quiet strength it takes to embrace change and move forward, while still holding love close to our hearts.
