This is my Final Major Project collection exploring garden corridors, birds, berries, florals and foliage.

The collection is inspired by my love of nature, time spent in my nan’s garden and visits to Exbury Gardens. It celebrates rich, colourful environments and the sense of movement found in natural spaces. The work focuses on bold, expressive compositions that translate botanical observation into decorative interior surfaces. Colour is central to the collection, driving mood, rhythm and visual impact throughout. The designs bring together layered imagery of florals, foliage, birds and fruit, forming dynamic patterns that feel immersive and lively. Each piece is designed to create a strong visual presence, combining vibrancy with a tactile quality suited to interior applications. The collection reflects an appreciation of natural abundance, capturing both detail and overall atmosphere within garden environments. 

Through this body of work, I aim to bring elements of the outdoors into interior spaces, creating bold, nature-inspired surfaces that feel contemporary, energetic and celebratory. Overall, the collection presents a celebration of botanical life combining colour pattern and form to create vibrant contemporary interior surfaces throughout spaces.

Continue working in my supported living job while pursuing textiles on the side, with a particular focus on tufting.
