Hi! I'm Sofia Bellesia, a bubbly and highly motivated 2D animator and character designer.

When it comes to animation, I have always been fascinated by the magic that a series of drawings strung together can create when moving. I love observing life, and I'm always intrigued by how it can be used as inspiration to improve and inform animations.
I love to stylise, especially with my character design. Playing with the contrast of straight against curved lines and weird shapes and volumes is something I am always very passionate about, and try to incorporate in my work.

This year, I was the producer, character designer and animator for the short film Set in Stone. I had the honour to create the design for the main protagonist of the short, The Artist, and to contribute to the animation alongside my wonderful, talented team.

I am eager to pursue a career in my two passions in the next few years, character design and 2D animation, and would love to explore the role of producer as well.
