天地之间 (in between worlds) is an installation explores identity and roots, an ode to nature as well as the depth of human emotion, holding my memory from the time I spent studying here. I collected mushrooms and parakeet feathers from the woods, rock and seaweed from the ocean and sewed them onto the silk screen with my poem and my fallen hair. The sprouted sweet potatoes represent my Cantonese identity.
