This project is a visual development project adapted to showcase mobility aids throughout environmental design. 

In the year 2022/23, 24% of people in the UK identified as having a disability, with 48% of those identifying as having a mobility impairment. In contrast, of the six films nominated in the ‘Best Feature’ category at the 52nd Annie awards, only 1.41% of the run time across all of these films combined featured a mobility aid on screen. From this sample alone, we can see a huge disparity in the representation of disabled individuals that we see on screen, which is what I am addressing within my work.

To pursue a PhD following my research in disability representation in creative media alongside freelance creative work and charity work.
