During my last year at university, I worked on various productions – my Schiapparelli-inspired suit from the Hurn Court Opera production of La Traviata, the dame costume for Oxford Playhouse's pantomime production of Dick Whittington, and AUB's production of Grimm Tales. 

The Oxford Playhouse pantomime project was the first production of my year. I really enjoyed this project; it was very hands-on and gave me a really good experience of what it is like to work in the theatre industry. I am very enthusiastic about the theatrical side of making, so to be able to explore that through my project was a lot of fun . 

The Hurn Court Opera Schiapparelli-inspired suit was one of my toughest projects, as I did immensely detailed embroidery of various African animals. I really enjoyed the hand embroidery; it was very time-consuming but taught me a lot about detailing and the different stitches I can use to create an intricate design. 

The AUB production costumes are for the Page Boy in the Lady and the Lion and Ashputtel in Ashputtel. I enjoyed working collaboratively with the BA (Hons) Acting students.

I am currently looking for a job in the theatre industry as a maker or a dresser.
