My name is Maz/Maria and I am a character designer and aspiring comic artist. I am not limited to these options, however; I am always willing to widen my skill set. 

Character concepts are my main interest, I mostly just like to have fun with it – the work won't be great if you aren't enjoying yourself!

I am planning to attend Annecy Film Festival 2026 and many more in the UK as well. I would love to speak with more creatives and widen my knowledge of the creative industries. 

I am willing to work in any sector that requires character design if I am lucky! However I will most likely be seeking cleanup work in animation.

The hair designs for Aisha were drawn by me; however, the character was invented by Edwin Obeng-Marnu for the short animated film Backseat Joyride, which I was a character designer on.
