I am a Brazilian photographer living in Switzerland. Between the different roles of mother, wife, daughter, sister and administrative manager, photography is not only a refuge but also my way of communicating emotions, ideas and reflections.

This work began as an exploration of the relationship between a mother and her children before their departure from the family home. Gradually, however, it shifted away from the direct representation of people towards the traces, absences and atmospheres that remain behind.

The project investigates how memory, emotion and perception become embedded within everyday spaces and objects. Empty rooms, partially occupied interiors, personal belongings and closed doors function as fragments through which viewers may construct their own narratives of change, attachment and loss.

Ultimately, the work asks how photography might hold experiences that are difficult to articulate, offering domestic space not simply as a backdrop to family life but as a repository of emotions and transformation.

My future plans include pursuing a doctorate and continuing to develop photographic projects focused on memory, culture and human development, exploring how photography can communicate experiences that are often difficult to express in words.
